Job Title: Concession Stand Facilitator
Location: Mosinee Youth Girls Softball Fields
Reports To: Mosinee Youth Girls Softball Board
Position Overview:
The Concession Stand Manager for the Mosinee Youth Girls Softball Association is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the concession stand during softball games and events. This includes managing a team of volunteers and/or staff, ensuring food safety and cleanliness, handling inventory, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for players, families, and spectators. The role requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering a high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise Concession Stand Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the concession stand, ensuring it runs efficiently and effectively during all games and events.
- Ensure the stand is fully stocked with food, beverages, and supplies prior to each event.
- Operate the concession stand according to local health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation guidelines.

Inventory Management:
- Track inventory levels and place orders for food, drinks, and supplies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory purchases, sales, and usage.
- Monitor product expiration dates and rotate stock to reduce waste.

Staff & Volunteer Management:
- Supervise and train concession stand staff and volunteers on customer service, food safety, and stand operations.
- Assign tasks to staff/volunteers and ensure proper coverage during all shifts.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere among staff and volunteers.

Customer Service:
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure that the concession stand area is clean, organized, and inviting.

Financial Management:
- Handle cash transactions, operate the cash register, and manage cash flow throughout the day.
- Maintain accurate sales records and provide daily/weekly reports on sales and expenditures.
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning to ensure profitability of the concession stand.

Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure that all food safety practices are followed, including proper storage, preparation, and handling of food items.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with local health regulations.

Event Preparation and Coordination:
- Work closely with league organizers to ensure the concession stand is ready for all scheduled games and events.
- Prepare the concession stand for peak times, such as weekends or tournaments, by ensuring adequate staffing and inventory.
Qualifications:

Experience:
- Prior experience in food service, retail, or concession stand management is preferred.
- Experience supervising or managing staff/volunteers is a plus.

Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash, making change, and tracking inventory.
- Ability to problem-solve and handle customer complaints or issues effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Other Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and during special events.
- A friendly and positive attitude, with the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
- Beverage Server Training: Wisconsin Responsible Beverage Server Course is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in a busy, sometimes hot environment.
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions (e.g., heat, rain) as the concession stand may be outdoors.
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience and will range from $2,500 - $4,500.
